My Main Objective
Get more people, both seniors and children, more actively involved in programs to improve their lifestyle and well being. Further, integrate and expand physical fitness opportunities to children and seniors who have seen their opportunities for exercise at school and at home all but eliminated. It’s time for a change.
About James Boswell
I am a long term resident of Livermore. I attended Livermore High School, Las Positas College, Chabot College, and University of San Francisco graduating with honors. My work history includes senior management positions at Bank of America, Apple Computer, Apple spin-off Connect Inc., and ADP. Most recently, I’ve been in Law Enforcement for over 17 years. I’m also a rancher and a veteran having served in the United States Navy and Army Reserve. In addition, I have a passion for sport. I’ve been a competitive softball, baseball, soccer player, cyclist, runner and more. I’ve coached men’s softball and baseball and children’s sports including soccer, softball, and additional programs. With all that being said, I have an in-depth knowledge of finance, managing people, and being a steward of our land which translates directly into the parks and open spaces we use for recreation. And given the current environment, I think it’s time to rethink how we use these spaces and our programs.
